Not-so-live report from Padang Padang

Last Sunday, I and 3 friends decided to take a trip to Padang2 Beach. At the beginning, I - unusually, was sitting on my bed 'playing' my Mac. Right in the middle of my jobs, S called me up hoping that I changed my mind to join the trip. I was a bit hoping she would join us, and my dream came true :) I and V were going to hunt pictures. And the rest of us were just the cheerers (and also the models).

We arrived at about 2pm, the weather was hot. There were a lot of 'bule' there. 'Locals' were only a few. I thought that there would be private and quiet there, but I turned out to be totally wrong. A lot of children, people sun bathing and swimming.

The sea was so transparent green. So clean, with brownish sand. At first, the scenery was a bit similar with Dreamland, but Dreamland has white sand. There's a wreckage of ship at the left corner. We had to rumble through rocky path to get there. The rock was algae carpeted, that made it so slippery. And the sea snails were everywhere. They were in the water, on the rock, stick at the gap between rocks. We had to be so careful not stamping at those jelly-body-creatures. The sea snails don't have shells like land snails. I really didn't fancy to know what inside their sticky skin.

Me and wrecked ship

If you see the image has a blur circle, it means that you are under 10 years or you don't have a right access to see the image

We found a plant like creature. At first i thought that it was a kind of sea algae stranded by the sea wave, but when we got close to it, its plant-like tentacle was moving.

There were 'sumur' also. One of my friend with 'S' initial was actually looked at it, but she pretended to be not. There were none of it at the crowded part. But when we were walking to the right corner, there on higher shadowed part, I turned my head to the right and found something amazing. Unfortunately when I was ready to take the pic, the lady was already lying, facing downward. Any effort I made wouldn't succeed in getting the pic. Unless I had the courage to ask the lady. Me.. of course not :)
My advice to S was next time if you found something amazing, please share it with the others.

We got home before dark. Still shiny actually.
My conclusion of this trip is here comes another spot for refreshing. If you unafraid of getting sunburn, snails, walking on slippery rocks, and being targeted of wrath because of temptation to get 'sumur' pics.
Otherwise, if you do, you'll get scenic view, wonderful photograph for your collection (wonderbra also), and great time there. Adios.
